Alan Hynd

ALAN HYND has been a journalist, media trainer and TV producer for more than 30 years. For most of his media career, he worked for television stations in Perth, Sydney and London.

He began his journalism career at “The West Australian” newspaper, moving into Perth radio then television. After working for STW Channel 9 he moved to Sydney in 1984 where he worked for the Seven and Ten national networks on news, current affairs and feature programs. One of his news stories was commended in the Television Society’s Penguin Awards in 1985 and was also nominated for a Logie Award.

In 1988 he returned to Perth where he worked for NEW Channel 10 for six years as a presenter, reporter and producer. During that time, he spent a year overseas where he worked as a producer for Sky Television’s 24-hour news channel in London.

In 1994, Alan formed Panorama Media, which provides video production and media training services to a number of high profile, blue-chip corporations, government departments and community organisations.
